Why is this required?
As a fully regulated UK pharmacy, we must adhere to the strict guidelines set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

Our "Hybrid" Verification Process
We use a seamless, multi-step approach to verify your details. For most patients, this happens instantly in the background without you needing to do anything.
The Background Check
When you create an account or place an order, we securely check your Name, Date of Birth, and Address against trusted UK databases (such as the Electoral Roll).
Photo ID Upload
If you have recently moved house or are not on the public register, the background check may fail. If this happens, you will simply be asked to upload a quick photo of your Passport or Driving Licence.

📉 Will this affect my credit score?
Absolutely not. Our background check leaves what is known as a "soft footprint" on your credit file. This is an identity check, not a credit application. It cannot be seen by lenders and has zero impact on your credit rating.
🔒 How is my ID photo stored?
We do not store your raw ID photos on our standard servers. They are securely processed by our specialized identity partners (like Stripe or Yoti) using military-grade encryption. Once your identity is verified, we only store a digital "verified flag" on your account in compliance with GDPR.
🔄 Do I have to do this every time I order?
Usually, no. Once your identity and age have been successfully verified on your account, you will not need to provide photo ID for future orders, making your repeat prescriptions fast and hassle-free.
